Incredible $30 Map-Making Software Bundle Represents a Online Gaming Game Master's Fantasy

Package Levels

Entry Level

The most affordable option, at a minimum cost of $1, includes only four from the thirty-nine available products: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Monster Token Pack 1, Castle Source Maps, and Source Maps: Cities!. This one's only for existing CC3+ users, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for landscape mapping, more than 750 monster tokens for use in virtual tabletops, more than two dozen top-down castle layouts with 470 associated map tokens, eight fully mapped cities, plus seventy-plus building interiors.

Mid-Range Option

The eight-product collection starting at fifteen dollars offers enhanced value by adding in a lifetime CC3+ license, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. The Annual represents the annual collection from the company's ongoing subscription program which includes a variety CC3+ add-ons including map packs and various other tools. The Isometric Cities enables display cities with an extra dimension using angled views from all sides. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, packed with guidance and instructions for the map-making process.

Every volume from the Annual series come with this bundle, plus numerous other resource and asset packs enabling creators to design entire planets or galaxies, or focus exclusively on classic fantasy realm creation: combat arenas, underground complexes, urban centers, and continents in multiple viewpoints. Users can also create character portraits. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the full bundle is so worth it, especially for cartographers who have only the annual CC3+ license and want to upgrade to lifetime. But it's obviously more advantageous for map-making newbies since it includes the beginners' tutorials to facilitate learning. The sole limitation is that while you can redeem the deal across platforms, the applications only function on Windows.

Philanthropic Aspect

As with other Humble Bundles, a portion of each sale goes to benefit a nonprofit. In this instance, the beneficiary is Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 focused on improving the lives of children worldwide via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response.
