The Popular Show Season Four Introduces the Warriors Table

From the very beginning of Campaign 4, recently appointed game master Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept fans guessing with extensive world-building, a wide array of heroes, and a thrilling plot featuring angels, fiends, and malevolent powers increasing in strength within the urban setting.

Heads-up: Revealing details for the third episode of the new season are included.

The Warrior Group Introduced

The third episode concluded with a major cliffhanger and presented the first table of characters who will branch out from the main group to embark on their own adventure, apart from the remaining groups.

The Soldiers table includes the determined fighter (portrayed by Travis Willingham), the agile character (Laura), the fierce warrior (Whitney Moore), Wicander Halovar (the player), and Kattigan (the actor).

Dividing the Cast

Given a large ensemble, it was obvious from the outset that keeping everyone at one table would be unworkable.

Hence, the initial installments of Campaign 4 serve as an Overture, weaving together the personal journeys before splitting into three separate parties: Fighters, Schemers, and Explorers.

Characteristics of the Warrior Group

According to Brennan Lee Mulligan, the warrior group is for adventurers who enjoy a typically action-packed fight-heavy story mode where peaceful solutions are few and far between.

Initially, characters like the squeamish cleric Wicander Halovar might appear out of place, but the actions of the third episode make it clear why these particular heroes are best suited for the Soldiers table.

Reasons to Leave

To begin with, the group knows exactly where to proceed after a violent initial meeting with The Crow Keepers.

Casimir of Thjazi Fang—whose passing started the story’s plot—used the foes for his personal gain, entering the secret base, assaulting the rogue, and taking all the enchanted items to auction.

Casimir then cleared his obligations and fled to a fortified location in the northern region, north of the city, with Cyd hot on his heels.

Personal Motivations

Secondly, each adventurer has a personal reason to leave the city the urban setting:

  • Thimble, as the companion and best friend, seeks vengeance.
  • The knowledgeable figure has experience in the northern area and advises that it is a nasty environment.
  • The strong character and Wicander, having resisted his house’s orders to eliminate the target and instead saved him, have no safe haven.
  • Yet, their reputation as prominent individuals in the powerful family could enable the team reach locations they usually can’t.
  • Furthermore, The fighter swore a unbreakable promise to The savior for his rescue and will now accompany him anywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

In addition, all of them are sought by the rulers that rule the city for a variety of reasons, making staying in the city too risky:

  • The agile adventurer and Kattigan are recognized lawbreakers.
  • Tyranny and Wicander defied the influential house and the legion of demons they are aligned with.
  • Teor is targeted for elimination by the family.

This results in them little choice but to head to Timmony in pursuit of the antagonist.

Future Episodes

Based on the latest episode’s post-show segment, we learn that the combat party won’t be around next week, leaving the other eight cast members to round up the Seekers and Planners groups.

Viewers can expect finding out which adventurers will be in which group in the season’s final introductory chapter, available to watch on the upcoming Thursday.
